A DELAYED ADVENTURE TO THAILAND

Thailand.. a country filled with unique aspect,,

Cerita dibawah ini berkaitan dengan negara Thailand, lebih tepatnya suatu universitas di daerah Chiang Rai, Ma* F*h L*ang University,,

This story start when i’m in 6^th semester and it’s climax hapen  at May 2012 (don’t ask me about it’s date, i already forgot, hehehe),,

Semester 6

Today is a common day of my life, attend the lecture, play with friend when the rest time,etc,,

Nah, pas ngikutin salah satu kelas, ternyata yang ngisi materi Dekan FATETA IPB, namanya Bapak Sa* Herodian,,

His class was very attractive and not so conventional, where there’s just a few student got sleep,,

Di bagian akhir kelas, pak Dekan tiba-tiba berbicara tentang tawaran mengikuti penelitian di Thailand,  Ma* F*h L*ang University (MFU) tepatnya,,

At that time, there’s a few student interest on his offer, so those student were told to write they name, lecture, etc,,

Awal Semester 8

Honestly, most of student that attract with Dean’s offer, already forgot about this project, because there’s no information at all,,

Beberapa bahkan sudah memulai penelitian-nya sendiri,,

Sudenly, our Dean call us to meet him at his office to talk about this project,,

Hasil pertemuan menyimpulkan bahwa biaya penelitian ini sendiri gratis, tapi biaya hidup, dan perjalanan ke Thailand jadi tanggung jawab mahasiswa,,

In the end, from 6-9 student, only me that enthusiastic with this project, other student got many problem so they back off,,

Rencana gw, gw punya tabungan 2 juta yang bisa dipakai buat tiket pesawat, masalah makan bisa ditransfer sama Orang Tua dah,,

So the dean told me to write a thesis proposal for my research, and he will send it to the MFU,,

Pertengahan Semester 8

It’s already 2-3 months since i wrote thesis proposal and send it to the MFU, but there’s no progress,,

Karena terlalu lama, gw berinisiatif memulai penelitian di IPB dengan rencana bahwa penelitian gw di Thailand juga sama,,

So, i spent 2 million rupiah to start this research,,

Setelah itu, gw mendapatkan kesempatan buat ke luar negeri, Jepang tepatnya,,

After i’m coming back from Japan, the Dean told me that now i can go to thailand, because every side already agree,,

Oh ya, proyek ini baru, sehingga dibutuhkan persetujuan dari banyak orang untuk memulainya karena perjanjian yang dibuat juga masih belum sempurna,,

But, when i told this to my parents, they refuse this project,,

Orang Tua gw gak setuju coz menurut mereka Thailand bukan negara yang tergolong lebih maju dari Indonesia,,

I’m in dilemma, how i told this to my Dean? Is he gonna be angry? I’m dead,,

Jalan buntu,,

Then i told my Dean that i can’t go to Thailand because my parent forbid me, then he angry and i don’t know what to do, so i contact my thesis supervisor,,

Pembimbing skripsi gw akhirnya yang menyelesaikan masalah ini,,

Finally she said my dean won’t push me anymore and this problem seems like never hapen, no one talk about this project again and i still avoid my dean,,

Jadi, itulah cerita petualangan gw ke Thailand yang tertunda,,

I disappoint many people, i just want to say sorry for them all, i just can’t against my parents will,,

Dalam pikiran gw, biarlah banyak orang kecewa, yang penting gw gak mengecewakan Orang Tua,,

That’s the story, about me experience, i believe one day i’ll visit Thailand and find my journey there,,

Hahahahahaha,,,
